A sign at one of the reservoirs we visited.
Here's an article I wrote about the press tour in Israel this past July. It doesn't include any of my camels-in-the-desert photos, but there's a nice one from the desalination plant.

We visited the Elmvale Water Festival on Saturday and couldn't waste the opportunity, especially after spending a good while speaking with local resident and campaigner Stephen Ogden. As we headed out of town, we stopped by Site 41 to hear the latest news and get some photos for the September/October issue. Posted a quick blog entry over at Canadian Water Treatment this afternoon, and can't help hoping that Elmvale and Tiny Township residents never have the opportunity to say "I told you so."

After years of being out of touch, Michal and I happened to reconnect the very night this photo was taken.
Several hangouts revealed that since we were teenagers he had grown into a gifted, humble artist with a curious mind, a huge heart, and a taste for adventure.
Michal was also one of the biggest supporters of Oshawa's music scene, and Oshawa in general. Here's an interview we did for MONDO after that night at the Velvet Elvis.
Much love to Michal's family and friends.
I hold readability, correctness, style, and humour in high regard.
